Hi Abbigail! 

This is the very first post for the blog that I hope you get to see someday. I just learned that your mother moved you two out of apartment 22S over three years ago, so all the letters, cards, and gifts that I sent you during that time didn't get to you. Hence the creation of this blog as a tentative channel for communication, since there is no other option.

If you don't mind, I'll call you Abbi sometimes. Your family here in New Zealand (and in Colorado) use that nickname when we speak of you.
